An unknown source has been revealing our identity and spreading rumours about us.
Due to complications, this blog will be temporarily suspended until further notice.
The TagBoard will still remain functional, though.
Meanwhile, enjoy the music...

We got our overall results back today. We're all promoted, thanks to some slight moderation. Glad that The Two Musketeers is now The Three Musketeers again.
Enough of that, let's put that aside. It's now time to put our concentration and effort in Project MJC: The Awakening.
We believe that next year will be a better year for all Meridians, regardless of whether promoted, advanced or retained.

Ms Lai said today that 70% of JC1s met the minimum promotion criteria of 1A and 2AO passes, and 20% are "advanced". The rest, well, you know...
But according to Mr Yeow Eugene Pancratius, more than 300, which is about 40%, didn't make it.
Who should we believe, Ms Lai or Mr Yeow?
We chose to believe Mr Yeow. The Principal has to account for the college's results, so she has to make it seem presentable. Mr Yeow is not accountable for anything, hence he would be more objective.
This makes us feel like we are living in one BIG wayang show called "MJC". Firstly, we were given a false impression of what MJC is like, and got conned into joining "the Meridian family". Then we mugged so hard in MJC just trying to pass our examinations. Now, we have this "advanced" thing. It would be better if they just stuck to "promoted" and "retained".
If a student is retained, the student can choose to be retained in MJC or enrol in another JC. If a student is advanced and doesn't make it pass next year's first term's examinations, then the student can only choose to either retain in MJC or quit, cannot enrol in another JC.
See? MJC wasting our time and ruining our future. We're just living in a play, just part of a script. We get disposed off when we're no longer of any use to the whole play, "MJC".
Still, we hope The Two Musketeers can become The Three Musketeers again. Hope all three make it to JC2, get "advanced" at least, then mug really hard next year to make it pass the first term.

Our life is nothing but a play, a sad play. Since we're already in this play, let's not waste our life away. Make the most of it.

One of our Mother Tongue tutors told one of us today: "Ms Lai told me your overall results..."
What?! "I don't even know my overall results, how does she know? Why she did she tell you my results?"
Tutor: "Not just your results. Remember the other time, you and the other two who went to her office? She's monitoring of the results of you three."
Oh no! Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Hopefully the Principal doesn't have anything against us...

We got back the last of our promos results today. Sad to say, but one of us didn't make it. The Three Musketeers is now officially The Two Musketeers. He has decided to leave MJC because "to retain in MJC is as good as wasting 10 years of your life". For the sake of his future, he has to leave MJC. He won't be able to fight together with us for the cause anymore. Well, for the sake of his future, we give him our blessings.
However, The Three Musketeers will still try to complete Project MJC: The Awakening before next Friday. Friday is the day we'll become Two. Really hope that we'll complete this project, because it'll be the last project that we'll be doing as The Three Musketeers.
Goodbye, our fellow Musketeer. Good luck!

Our classmates heard about Operation Doom 3 from one of the groups that visited MJC for the Open House. We didn't expect anyone in school to know about it, since we carried out our operation mainly outside college, but it simply shows that the operation was a success. They didn't know exactly who carried out the operation, but all our classmates know that it could only be us. Some of them we're disapproving of our operation, but who cares? It's our duty to protect innocent secondary school students from being fooled into their doom.
This is just the beginning, the best has yet to come. Keep updated with our latest happenings.

Coming soon:
Project MJC: The Awakening

Today was rather productive.
We distributed OUR version of the college anthem to the secondary school students. From our calculations, we estimate that we reached out to a mass of about 500 students. Some of them were even so curious to know more that they asked how we came up with our version of the anthem. So we patiently explained to them about our version, and though it was in a rather casual and relaxed manner, we got our point across. As we used to learn in 'O' Level Social Studies: When a source criticizes the organization it belongs to, it enhances the reliability of the source. The students seemed to believe us. After all, it's their loss if they choose to take our advice lightly. The operation could be considered a success.
We also found out who our opposition was. Well, he's a good friend of our good friend, so we have to think carefully before we do anything to him. Our good friend, may fall out with us if we do not handle this carefully. So, we'll be thinking of methods to deal with our good friend's good friend...
Hopefully, the students don't take us as pranksters and ignore our message to them. But if they choose to do so, we don't stand to lose anyway. It's their choice...

What's Operation Doom 3? Well, we don't really know yet, but here's a rough idea of what it is:

Operation Doom 3
3 - Next year's intake will be MJC's 3rd
Doom - (make a guess)

Tomorrow is MJC's open house. Secondary school students (potential victims) will probably be given a false impression of what MJC is. Our objective is to prevent them from being fooled, just as we were fooled in the Provisional Admission Exercise period.
How we intend to accomplish our objective, we have no 'solid' idea. We'll see how it goes tomorrow.
Anyway, we heard that some bloody fucking asshole from a particular class is opposing us. He'd better not let us catch him, but we probably will. We'll teach him a lesson, and hopefully he'll learn that he's benefiting from us, and not the SC...

MJC's college anthem (our thoughts in brackets)

Vision To Be The Best

Chorus:
Born of a vision (an obsession) to be the best
Rising above the rest (with longest school hours)
We speak with one clear voice (but are unheard)
As this is our (regretful) choice...
'Cause we're...

Born of a vision (obsession!) to be the best
Rising above the rest (in terms of unhappiness & depression levels)
We speak with one clear voice (but must be 'politically correct')
Yes this is our choice (the wrong choice)
Meridian, yes we will be the best (among the worst)

Verse 1:
Feel the flame of our dream, burn (into ashes) forever
As our journey here begins (our journey here ends)
We're together (in deep shit)
With each step we take we know (with each step, we stumble)
Strength to strength we'll grow (grow more depressed)
As we set ourselves apart (divided, literally)

Verse 2:
Facing challenges (obstacles) ahead
We will overcome (by sacrificing some students)
With passion, fervour we will strive (passion? fervour? MJC got no life!)
Spread our wings and fly (out of 'Pasir Ris Prison')
We will reach the highest star (reach the deepest pits)
Through Meridian (we suffer hell)
Yes, our hopes and dreams will shine (in our dreams)

The Promos is finally over! Didn't do well, may not make it through, but it's over so let's put it behind us and get on with life...
Now that the promos is over and done with, we can really start thinking of a solid plan.
Firstly, the promos itself is crap. RJC, with supposedly superior students, have their promos spaced out over a period of two weeks, with an average of only two papers per week. The time in between is for them to study. Furthermore, we only completed our syllabus two days before the start of the promos. RJC completed theirs at least a week before. With this kind of crap, how can we be expected to do better than RJC? We'll forever remain inferior to them, and probably to the rest of the JCs as well.
Secondly, our SC hasn't been very helpful. In fact, they haven't done anything useful at all. All they have done is just to put up shows for us. We keep on having to work for our own rights. Useless SC, wayang troupe...
Lastly, now that we have all the time in the world (well, almost, other than Project Work), we can finally spend time "gathering evidence". Ms Lai wanted evidence when we said that other JCs have shorter timetables than us, and that they have longer time to study for promos. Now we can give her the evidence she wanted, and hopefully we'll see significant improvements to our timetables next year...
